Just saw Derren Brown.

A thoroughly enjoyable show. Not only for the magical, mind-melding content, but theatrically it was wonderfully dramatic and well-staged. I cannot go into specifics (nor do I wish to), but Derren, Andy Nyman and the rest of the team did a great job.

Speaking of, I saw Andy in the audience before the show, so I got to meet him and chat for a bit. Lovely chap (if I may use the term).

Afterwards, we waited at the stage door for a little while to see if Derren would come out, but a certain pair of people got impatient and forced us to leave. A shame, especially if we just missed him.

Now I have to get some sleep as I have to get up in four hours and get on a plane to fly seven hours to arrive in a country where it will be 42 degrees. Though we have two nights in Dubai, the trip is essentially over. That makes me sad. And thirsty.
