Day 22 – Paris

Posted on July 21, 2014

Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.

A slow and relaxed start today, with no real plans in mind. At lunch time we headed out to find some food and came across a Greek restaurant. It was nice to have that sort of food again, since it has been about a month. I got some nice chicken and actually managed to be full after the meal for once (with the addition of some scavenged leftovers).

After lunch, we headed towards Palais des Vosges which is home to the Victor Hugo Museum. It was a fair walk to get there and it started to rain on the way, but as usual it quickly cleared up.

When we arrived, there was a small line, but soon enough we got inside. There were a few artworks and artifacts inside which were interesting, as well as some of the rooms he had lived in. I didn’t take many pictures inside, but here’s a few. Some annoying light setups made some of these hard to see though.

As we were leaving the museum, we stumbled across an orchestral happenings.

So that was pretty cool. We then headed back to get an early night as we leave tomorrow morning for London.
